GB64 Recommended Games...

Paradroid
Pugsy says: This game is most people's top ten, a classic and definitely Andrew Braybrook's finest hour (which is saying a lot in itself!)

Hysteria
Neo-Rio says: Colourful side scrolling blaster. Pick up pieces of a puzzle, upon which you are greeted by a weird alien end-of-level boss. The music is quite memorable as well.

Hot Shot
graveyardjohn says: A hybrid of Breakout and Arkanoid, you destroy the blocks while your opponent does the same. The ball can move between yours and your opponents space, so watch out!

Legend of Sinbad, The
Neo-Rio says: A fun and frustrating multipart game. The first level rips off the old arcade game "Tutankham", but it becomes more original later on.

E-Motion
Neo-Rio says: This is a totally original game concept. More like a mix of asteroids and billiards, and suprisingly playable. Try and smash same coloured balls together with your ship!

Hypa-Ball
Steve says: Really addicting, great music and effects, still great fun to play!

Barbarian - The Ultimate Warrior
Neo-Rio says: Inspired by those "Conan the Barbarian" movies, Barbarian is a fighter for 2 players. The dubious "head lopping" feature is what we all remember well about this game!

Lode Runner
Neo-Rio says: A classic platform game in every respect. If you haven't played it, you've been living under a rock. There's a level editor in there too, so you won't get bored easily when there's all those levels of treasure to collect.

Pipe Mania
Neo-Rio says: Tantalizingly easy concept. Just lay your pipes down to make a longer one, but hurry before the pipe starts flowing! Player beware, this game induces as much addiction and panic as Tetris does.
