GB64 Recommended Games...

Bard's Tale , The - Tales of the Unknown
Steve says: Oh yeah, The Bard's Tale. Sleepless nights in Skara Brae. The good old times when a role paying game really was fun. The Bard's Tale definitely is one of the best classic, oldschool RPGs.

Captain Blood
Neo-Rio says: This space adventure game has this feature where you can talk to characters about things using a symbolic language.

Spherical
Neo-Rio says: A puzzling "Solomon's Key" type game. With loads of levels, it will keep you challenged and occupied for quite a while. It's a bit good.

Benji - Space Rescue
J2003C says: This is supposed to be a kids game, but it really is for all ages. Pretty fun and not as easy as you might think.

BC II - Grog's Revenge
Neo-Rio says: The sequel to BC's Quest for Tires. Very tricky and suspenseful arcade game. You'll scare yourself when Grog catches up to you! Great fun.

Suicide Express
Neo-Rio says: Fondly remembered for it's Bladerunner-esque music and the sythesized voice which tells you your score when you die. I don't understand why the author made many clones of it, the game is a bit average.

Mutants
Neo-Rio says: Another bizarre and trippy game with some excellent music. You have to clean up 15 or so sectors, with bizarre aliens in each sector to deal with. It's a little different than most shoot'em ups. That's for sure.

Little Computer People
Pugsy says: This is not really a game, but it was some simple fun. Unfortunately, this 'game' was the grandfather of the Sims series of games which now seem to have got completely out of control.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The
Steve says: We all knwo the book, eh? Is the adventure still worth playing? Yes, for sure! I won't tell you any details, but prepare yourself for one of the most enjoying adventure games ever played. It differs from the BBC radio series and the book to encounter fans and newbies as well. And, it's infocom - of course it's worth playing!
