I need to solve problem with Demobase Amiga. I can run only ADF demos. WHDLOAD & HDF not work. As for WHDLOAD, it always uses ADF disks, no WHDLOAD. As for HDF demos, it shows "not a dos disk" message. I've done some changes in 'demobase.uae', but cant do this proper working forever.
Download:
http://skroc.pl/demobase_amiga_fix
Uploaded files:
2 adf, 2 whdload, 2 hdf demos & all necessary files (except screenshots)

This is 100% a problem with the location of the GameBase setup.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
It MUST use the ALL default settings, scripts, ini files and emulator version supplied with it. as it is using 3 programs to run 1 game.
if i remember correctly, it's been so long...
WHDRUN - unzips to C:\GBGAME\
GameBase Unzips to C:\GBGAME\0
WHDLoad - will not boot with blacklisted keyfile.
remove .lha from file types.
link the zip only for WHD files, not a file from within the zip.
also your UAE file looks corrupted with suspect entries, probably due to edited lines in the script.
Do i need to upload the basic setup again, or do you still have the original archive.

yes, edited probably too much, to have it similar to GB Amiga
You know, I like Scale2x filter, I need to choose window/full screen - all through batch, to not edit with Gemus (F2)..., also thought WinUAE 3.0 improve something
Upload all required files please (incl. proper WinUAE)
also question... is this not possible to use c:\windows\temp and \temp\0 ? I use path c:\windows\temp as default GBTEMP for every GB compilation.

Everything's fine for me now.
the floppy0,1,2,3 variables were incorrect in my demobase.uae
(pb of permanent ADF)
If you want to use some filters just change the demobase.txt script
Finally WHDLoad Demos didn't launch cause several demos use A500+ (KS 2.04) and for me it was A3000 (KS 2.04 too) so i remove it from my roms folder.

can't remember which file i edited to get it working in the first place.
It *might* be possible, but it will only work in those two folders.
WHDRun takes control of unzipping WHD and gamebase unzips other files.dax wrote: is this not possible to use c:\windows\temp and \temp\0 ? I use path c:\windows\temp as default GBTEMP for every GB compilation.

hi, Sjakie
I just need all Demobase Amiga files except: ADF demos, HDF demos, WHDLoad demos and screenshots. So if You can upload it, I'll be grateful
But if You upload it wih extra modifications in scripts (or anywhere else):
- activate filter Scale2x (non Direct-X)
- WinUAE on full screen as default (to not change it manually through Gemus (F2))
- use c:\windows\temp or c:\windows\temp\0 as default path to run of files
Then I'll say I love You

I need a help with Gamebase CDTV-CD32.
As for default layout for CD32 pad is configured as:
directions: - cursors
RED - RIGHT CTRL
BLUE - RIGHT ALT
GREEN - NUM 7
YELLOW - NUM 9
REWIND - /
PLAY - *
FORWARD - -
It's not optimal, so I changed it, then saved WinUAE config with q/a/s/z/x/c/v as CD32 pad buttons , then modified CDTV-CD32 script with lines similar to Seiya's script:
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.0.custom||true)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.0.button.16.Q||JOY2_CD32_PLAY.4.1)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.0.button.30.A||JOY2_CD32_RWD.4.1)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.0.button.31.S||JOY2_CD32_FFW.4.1)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.0.button.44.Z||JOY2_CD32_RED.4.1)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.0.button.45.X||JOY2_CD32_YELLOW.4.1)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.0.button.46.C||JOY2_CD32_GREEN.4.1)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.0.button.47.V||JOY2_CD32_BLUE.4.1)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.0.button.200.UP||JOY2_UP.4.1)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.0.button.203.LEFT||JOY2_LEFT.4.1)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.0.button.205.RIGHT||JOY2_RIGHT.4.1)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.1.friendlyname||WinUAE null keyboard)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.1.name||NULLKEYBOARD)
Set_CFG_Value(%dbpath%\cd32-cdtv goldies.uae||input.2.keyboard.1.custom||true)
Of course it did not work. WinUAE uses its default settings. What can be wrong with it?
